DUE DATE

Synopsis
Desire Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) may not be too grandiose, but sometimes even a simple desire to be something really complicated when executed. As a result, not only desire is so threatened not met but there may be innocent people who have become victims.

Peter just wanted to go home on time so that he could be beside his wife in childbirth later. Everything was taken into account. Peter was sure would get home before his wife gave birth. But there is one thing that is not accounted for Peter, the interference of others who make it are forced to travel overland rather than using the aircraft as planned Peter.

It's the act of Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis), Peter was forced to travel overland. Apparently, the original road trip sounded so smooth it even disastrous. Not so smooth and pleasant trip but Ethan and Peter could not even face the risk down to Los Angeles just in time. In fact, Peter's original desire was to get home before his wife gave birth.

Review
Last year, Todd Phillips' The Hangover directing a sequel would be made soon. For this year, Todd back through the film titled DUE DATE, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis. By theme, DUE DATE is still not too far from The Hangover although repetition of this theme was not too helpful performance DUE DATE.

Some call road movie. Whatever its name, film comedy, this one is trying to provoke laughter through the events that happened during the trip. When The Hangover trying to provoke laughter through the adventures of the men who are looking for their missing friend, this time Todd Phillips tries to dig a joke from two different characters who have to travel together.

In terms of acting, both Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis are already tested, although equally it seems comedy is Zach region. But it does not matter here because Robert did not have to do silly like Zach. The character Peter was designed to be a partner Ethan. This difference is so despite the strength DUE DATE DUE DATE the same time also has some flaws. When compared with The Hangover that have a strong enough story plot, DUE DATE is actually weak on this side.

Review:
While it may still not comparable with Gladiator or 300 but CENTURION also not be underestimated. The manuscript was slim but apparently it's not the purpose of Neil Marshall's film is set in history. As an entertainment, CENTURION remains an interesting film though here and there still exist that should be corrected.

As already mentioned, the script of this film is too thin. The flow of the story offered is very simple. Rounding out the legendary ninth Legion. There's nothing magical about this movie. The focal point of this movie is in fierce fighting that occurred at that time. Presumably, though still smelled of fiction, but Neil did not want to touch the magic business for the invisible tagging some other films that got made.

Neil is quite effective in capturing the image. Most of the image is taken from a distance so that the beautiful scenery of Scotland could be exposed well. Unfortunately this would make the cast did not seem so important anymore. Neil also did not get stuck making the actors and actresses look handsome and beautiful as they should be. CGI is not too fancy but still effective in the boundaries to make things look realistic.

In terms of acting, Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, and Olga Kurylenko certainly not a lot of problems but to be honest, the most interesting perhaps is that Olga's acting looks better than when he played as a Bond Girl. Chemistry between Michael Fassbender and Imogen Poots also look natural while Dominic West are also eligible to play Virilus. (KPL / rock) Genre: Action
