Some say if you lie to goodness it did not matter. Maybe, as long as we are ready with the consequences of the lie. Take for instance Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone). Because of a small lie, live Olive immediately so turned around and no longer can be controlled. Just because one small lie.

The story smelled of sex would quickly spread and when Olive lied that he had just lost her virginity the news was soon spread everywhere. Initially this new reputation made Olive feel a little uncomfortable but what may make, rice has become porridge and Olive could not change it unless she wanted to say a liar.

Shortly thereafter, Oliver began to see a bright spot of the problems he faced. This new reputation could actually be profitable for both Olive social status and financial side. Olive began to exploit his new reputation to get the maximum profit without realizing that he started to go into a much bigger problem. The problem that initially he had never imagined.
