FEMALE AGENTS

Cast: Sophie Marceau, Julie Depardieu, Marie Gillain, Deborah Francois, Moritz Bleibtreu, Maya Sansa, Sarah Tullamore

Desfontaines Louise (Sophie Marceau) is a member of the French Resistance. Although from the outside Louise's no different than most women but there is one thing that makes it special. Behind the beauty, Louise is a killing machine. And when he was assigned to rescue a British agent who captured Germany, a woman who had just lost her husband is not retreat one bit.

Agents who caught it did not divulge any confidential but still, Louise had to leave because of the continuity of the mission of the British government will depend on the task this Louise. To perform this task, Louise recruit Suzy Desprez (Marie Gillain), Gaëlle Lemenech (Deborah François), Faussier Jeanne (Julie Depardieu), and Maria Luzzato (Maya Sansa).

At first this mission went smoothly without any hitch but as soon as this mission was completed, Louise got a new job that much more dangerous. Louise and her team had to go to Paris to kill Colonel Karl Heindrich (Moritz Bleibtreu) who turned out to have known the British plan to land in Normandy. This mission is tantamount to a suicide mission.

Takes five beautiful women to war is not among the general idea. In fact, rarely have this kind of war-themed movie that put female characters as the central point. Although the movie itself inspired by a true story but the film made by director Jean-Paul Salomé is pure fiction and reality, Jean-Paul successfully combines historical fact and fiction in a visually interesting concoction.

It's no mystery. The flow of the story can easily be read from the beginning but it's not the purpose of Jean-Paul. Apparently, instead of creating a convoluted plot, Jean-Paul would rather put the audience in a state of tension that they have not moved from the chair until the film ends.

This movie script is not really very good but was helped by the acting of the cast is impressive. Sophie Marceau, perhaps no longer need to be discussed. This beautiful actress has played in dozens of films and is also not the first cooperation Sophie and Jean-Paul. Previously they could collaborate through BELPHEGOR. The most interesting might instead Moritz Bleibtreu who played as Karl Heindrich. The actor is able to break away from the typical Nazi character in the film.
