Zoe desired (Jennifer Lopez) is looking for the right man to marry because she wanted to have offspring. Many Zoe tried but seems to find the right man for the job is not easy. Almost desperate, Zoe decides she must immediately find another way or he would never have children as he wanted.
Zoe reckless. He intends to have children even without a husband. Artificial insemination is the chosen solution Zoe. But alas, when Zoe was doing this natural fertilization process does not he actually met Stan (Alex O'Loughlin), a man who could be Zoe's been waiting for this.
When Zoe and Stan began a love affair, Zoe started to get stuck. Zoe did not want to lose Stan but he also could not hide the fetus is now growing in her womb. Unexpectedly, when Zoe told him what he had done, Stan did not feel the objection and determined to continue their relationship.
Time passed and the stomach Zoe started getting bigger. At times like this, Zoe and Stan began to doubt the decisions they have done. It may be that this is a sign that they did not mate but can be also this is just a test because they both had been destined together.
To be honest, the basic idea of this movie is actually quite interesting. Many of the side that can be worked and perhaps even able to make this film more interesting. In fact, Alan Poul, the director chose to play safe by not touching the area earlier, perhaps in order not to provoke controversy, but that instead it is what makes this film tends to be a boring spectacle.
What is clear, the story line is very easy to guess, even just from reading a brief synopsis of this film. Hollywood did not dare to make something dramatic like in the movies from Asia and this can not be blamed for deviating from the existing standard means the risk of losing money. With the provision of assurance that this movie would end with a happy ending then there remains only a matter of extending the story line to meet the quota to be called as a feature film.
Again, here, Alan Poul failed because the audience clearly knew that ties between the two main characters are going on-off before reaching climax. So, the only one who can rely on only two main actors of this movie. Although not exactly bad but acting Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin also can not say very good. To be sure both of them have an attractive physical appearance and attractiveness so that's what this movie.
